Last Saturday, my mom and I headed over to our local Ulta for their Too Faced & Confessions of a Shopaholic makeover event. I'm a sucker for makeovers and had signed the two of us up a week earlier after I heard the word "free" come out of the cashier's mouth.
When we got there, both of us had the opportunity to choose one of three looks. I chose the everyday-at-the-office smokey eye look since I wanted to learn a little more about how to create one.
Both of our makeup artists were incredibly friendly. Mine gave me a smokey eye with brown shadow, a black shadow liner, and a emerald-green liquid liner on top. After the eye was created, she used Too Faced's Wrinkle Injection cream on my t-zone. I was absolutely amazed at how matte the cream made my shiny nose look! It's always the shiniest part of my face, and as soon as she applied it I knew I had to buy it and make it a part of my routine.

I love this mascara (I still love Chanel and Maybelline more, but this is up there too) and it makes me feel as though I have fake eyelashes on without looking well...fake.

I always have such a hard time picking a shade that looks good with the rest of my makeup, and as soon as I saw this product, I knew I had to have it as well. (It's even infused with champagne!)
Since I wasn't a huge fan of my final look (all of it was way to heavy for me; I had to wash it off as soon as I got home) I didn't take any after pictures. So instead, here's a before and after picture of me from today.
No makeup; ahhh!
After using some Clinique moisturizer, TF Wrinkle Injection, translucent powder, TF Mascara, Nars Blush in Orgasm, and TF Lip of Luxury in Cupcake. Wheee!
And there you have it: three of my new favorite beauty products!
