Two summers ago, I took a nude charcoal-drawing class in New Haven. There was a cute little cafe on the street that the studio was on, so one day after class my friend and I decided to try it out. I ordered a brie and pear quesadilla with mango salsa--to this day, I still dream about how incredible it tasted.
I was in the grocery store last week and my eyes fell upon a wedge of brie and later an Asian pear. Obviously I knew what I had to do. {Isn't the jacket protecting the pear so cute?}
How do you make a pear and brie quesadilla you ask? Well the answer is quite simple!

Slice up a pear. Eat half of the slices because it is a delicious juicy pear, then place the other half on one half of a tortilla.
Seriously, I was a bit apprehensive when I first ordered this at the cafe. But try it if you haven't!

Oh yum. I'd like to try that with apple and cheddar, too.
Holy smokes. That's brilliant! My husband is going to go bonkers with this one...
Wow, I never would've ordered that in a million years. But perhaps I should try one. I just adore pears and brie and you make it look so appetizing! Lovely!
